Hey friends! I’m happy to share a little project I’ve been chipping-away at:

FARMARKET is a multi-vendor online store to help local makers, artisans, farmers and food producers to sell their goods and coordinate safe, no-contact pickups & deliveries.

Interestingly, I’m leveraging geospatial data to allow vendors to "geo-fence" different regions, to intelligently filter fulfillment options for each customer.

Technology-wise, I built the shopping cart and checkout system using Svelte, and a slick homebrew PHP caching engine to keep the site running fast even under heavy load. I even built a tidy little CMS and OMS for the vendors.

Maybe the best feature is that it’s free (no fees or commissions)!

…just trying to do some good in our community :)
